			<title>Seniors vs Crime in Crestview</title>
			<link>http://www.crestviewpd.org/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=100</link>
<description> Seniors vs Crime (www.seniorsvscrime.com (http://www.seniorsvscrime.com/)) in partnership with the Crestview Police Department is currently seeking volunteers to open an Office in Crestview. We are looking for people 50 years and older to work with others that feel they have been taken advantage of by another. Seniors vs. Crime - WHAT A GREAT IDEA History:In 1989, the Florida Legislature ordered a task force to be formed to report on crime and the elderly. The Attorney General&amp;rsquo;s Task Force on Crimes Against the Elderly held a number of public meetings around the state and invited discussion from many seniors. A direct result of the task force report was the formation of Seniors vs. Crime as a &amp;ldquo;Special Project of the Florida Attorney General&amp;rdquo; What began as a crime prevention program involving seniors in educating other seniors has evolved into a statewide program providing direct services to seniors who may have been victimized or otherwise taken advantage of by businesses or service providers. Our &amp;ldquo;Office Program&amp;rdquo; has been successful in assisting thousands of seniors. Please give us the opportunity to help you! </description>
