The Crestview Police Department has solved the recent rash of vehicle burglaries in the Crestview Area. The Crestview Police Department has currently made two arrests in connection to the vehicle burglaries, and has leads to several additional juveniles that have been named and interviewed to determine their role if any.
Thus far, the Crestview Police Department has arrested and charged 18 year old white male, Ian Awtry Northcutt (DOB 01/17/1992) of 3126 East Chestnut Avenue, in Crestview, and 17 year old JUVENILE James Alexandre Malousek (DOB 07/24/1992) who is also from the Crestview area. The Crestview Police Department has charged both with multiple counts of Felony Burglary and Grand Theft. There are more arrest warrants of other suspects that are pending in this case. They too will be facing numerous charges in connection to these burglaries. The Crestview Police Department has identified several victims in these cases, and recovered various stolen items. The Crestview Police Department would like to encourage any additional victims who are missing items, or who may have not contacted the Crestview Police Department, to do so. They may contact the Crestview Police Department at 850‐682‐3544 to file a report, or for the possible identification and recovery of their stolen items. The names of the additional suspects will be identified in a later news release, pending their arrest.
